1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Incident Owl, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our service.
2. Description of Service
Incident Owl provides a mobile-first incident reporting platform for workplaces across the UK. Our service includes incident logging, evidence capture, notifications, and compliance reporting.
We are currently in beta. This means the service is provided free of charge while we refine the product with user feedback. Beta users should expect occasional bugs and feature changes.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
4. Beta Access & Future Pricing
Incident Owl is currently free during our beta period. No payment is required to use the service.
Founding Member Discount: Users who sign up during the beta period ("Founding Members") will receive 50% off any paid plan, forever, when we introduce pricing. This discount:
- Applies automatically to your account
- Has no expiration date
- Applies to any plan tier you choose
- Is non-transferable
When we introduce paid plans, we will:
- Give at least 30 days notice before any charges begin
- Never charge you without explicit opt-in consent
- Allow you to export or delete your data if you choose not to continue
We reserve the right to end the beta period at any time, but will honour the 50% Founding Member discount for all users who signed up during beta.
5. Beta Service Disclaimer
During the beta period, Incident Owl is provided "as is" for testing and feedback purposes. While we strive to provide a reliable service:
- Features may change, be added, or removed
- Occasional downtime or bugs may occur
- We may reset or migrate data with advance notice
We recommend maintaining your own backup records during the beta period.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload false or misleading information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Share your login credentials with unauthorised users
7. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you submit to Incident Owl. We have a limited license to use this data solely to provide our services to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
Incident Owl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our platform.
